Why is the device window not showing as a Share option in my gaming and streaming software?

When using gaming and streaming software such as Discord, OBS, or Twitch, you will need to ensure the Always On Top and Fullscreen settings in Reflector 4 are disabled in order for the device window to show up in the Share menu of your gaming and streaming software. Here's an example:

Follow these steps to ensure your device mirrored with Reflector appears for you:

Method 1 - If your device is already connected to Reflector

Note:
If your device is currently not connected to Reflector, skip to Method 2.

Step 1: Click the gear icon next to your device's name in the Name Bar

Step 2: Ensure Always on Top and Fullscreen are toggled OFF.

The option of sharing your device window should now be available in your gaming or streaming session.

Note:
Always on Top and Fullscreen must be toggled off to successfully begin sharing your device screen with a gaming or streaming platform. If you prefer, you can toggle these settings back on after you begin streaming your computer screen.

Method 2 - If your device is currently not connected to Reflector

Step 1: Open the Reflector 4 menu, select the Settings icon, then select Preferences.

Step 2: Ensure the Always on Top setting is unchecked/disabled in the General section.

Step 3: In the Connection section, ensure Display Fullscreen is unchecked/disabled.

Step 4: Exit the Preferences menu. Reopen the Settings menu and select Quit Reflector 4. Then relaunch Reflector to apply these settings.
